Class Curriculum

School-Age (6 years to 13 years)

It’s A Kidz World recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of the increasingly independent school-age child. Eager to achieve socially and academically while expanding their knowledge of the world, 6- to 13-year olds seek new challenges, close friendships, and increasing responsibilities.

Our programs offer enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for maturing school-age children. This includes before-school and after-school care, back-up or emergency care for school holidays and closings.

We offer summer care with Field Trips through the summer.

Daily Routine Schedule

Note: The times provided are approximate and can be adjusted based on the needs of School-age children and the center’s policies.

School-Age Routine:

  • 6:00 AM – 7:00am Arrival
  • 7:00am – 7:25am Breakfast
  • 7:30AM –  Departure to School
  • 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Arrival / Snack
  • 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM: Outside Play
  • 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Reading/Homework
  • 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Free Play/Departure
